mohammad amir

Mohammad Amir the left hand pace bowler wants to be like Wasim Akram his idol. He became a rising pace star of his team in 2007–2008 and Sohail impressed him at the pace camp in Lahore. By 2010, he was taking the pitches really seriously and one of the major speed-balling prospects of the world. This is the period when his career went from the serious to the worse as he was implicated in the spot-fixing scandal which led to a ban and prison sentence.

Amir distinguished himself already at the beginning, having performed rather well last season on the Pakistan domestic circuit. He was brilliant in World T20 finishing on top with his tremendous all-round performance. A promising bowler was showcased in his Test debut in Sri Lanka, while he continued his development when he went to New Zealand, Australia, and England on tours. In 2010 he became the youngest bowler to touch a landmark of 50 wickets at the age of 19.

The gloomy cloud of spot-fixing in 2010 remained forever in his playing career. He was banned and sentenced to jail but came back to cricket in 2016 after co-operating with the endeavours to combat corruption. His success was praised for excellent gameplay, particularly at T20 and ODI levels.

Consequently, in Tests, it is really difficult for Amir to re-establish the repeated achievement of the early days. This was often balanced out by flashes of greatness, but his performance on the whole was rather less consistent. He has concocted that milieu as I thought, but especially in such condition.

If we talk about Amir’s eminecremen, it will be remembered his role in the Pakistani team’s victory in the 2017 Champions Trophy final against India. The first strikes of him not just provided the necessary spark, they also showed his winning potential in such a big event.
