In anticipation of the upcoming first Test in Adelaide, both Australia and the West Indies have disclosed their playing XIs, introducing some intriguing changes and fresh faces to the cricketing arena.
Australia is trying something new. They’ve got more bowlers to choose from this time. Some of their main players, like Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood, might not play as much, giving them a bit of rest. These guys did a great job in the last series against Pakistan.
Now, on the West Indies side, a bowler named Greaves is getting much attention. He’s good at bowling and also has a decent record with the bat. Hodge is another player; he’s good with both bat and ball. Also, keep an eye on Shamar Joseph, who did really well last week, taking two important wickets.
Guess what? Steve Smith, a big player for Australia, is doing something unexpected. He wants to open the batting in this series. That’s a bit different from what he usually does!
